3-6.04.2019. QA UNZE: END OF THE STINT PROJECT IN THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAM

After more than three years of work on the project from the Erasmus+ program "Strengthening internationalization in higher education in BiH (STINT – Strengthening of Internationalization in B&H Higher Education / STINT)" it ended with a formal conference at the Faculty of Economics of Brčko University in East Sarajevo. This project was carried out within program area 2, KA 2 – Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education. The project holders were the University of East Sarajevo and KU Leuveun from Belgium - Technology Campus from Ghent. From the EU, in addition to the project holder from Belgium, participants were the Polytechnic University of Porto - Portugal (Instituto Politehnico Porto) and Buckinghamshire New University from Great Britain (London). From Bosnia and Herzegovina, the partners in the project participated: all public universities, the Agency for the Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance (HEA BIH), the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, the Center for Information and Recognition of Documents in the Field of Higher Education from Mostar and the Agency for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Srpska. Representatives of UNZA prof. Dr. Darko Petković, Amra Muslić, prof. and Mirza Oruč, M.Sc. took an active part in the final conference and presented the results of the first internal evaluation of internationalization at UNZE for the period 2008-2018, which is the first case of such an evaluation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is worth emphasizing that UNZE was the holder of work package 3 (WP 3), which is one of the most important work packages of the entire project, and that through the project, in addition to the procurement of equipment, numerous other activities were carried out, the main goal of which was to raise the level of internalization at UNZE to an even higher level. In addition to the UNZE team that participated in the final conference in Brčko, the vice-rector for international cooperation of UNZE Prof. Dr. Malik Čabaravdić with the team of deans, vice-deans, QA managers and ECTS coordinators of UNZE also took an active part in the project.
