04/08/2019 QA UNZE: CONFERENCE IN THE GOVERNMENT OF RS IN BANJA LUKA

The Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Government of the RS hosted a one-day conference CHALLENGES IN HIGHER EDUCATION - INTERNATIONALIZATION. After the welcoming address of Minister Srđan Rajčević and the presentation of the representative of the Ministry, Ph.D. Jelene Starčević and Ph.D. Radmile Pejić, followed by presentations of experiences in the internationalization of universities in Banja Luka and East Sarajevo. Examples of good practice in FBiH were presented by Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, who spoke about the evaluation of internationalization parameters expressed through KPIs done as a pilot project of the Internal Evaluation of Internationalization of UNZE for the period 2008-2018, while Dženan Omanović from the Center for Information and Recognition of Documents from the field of higher education from Mostar spoke about the challenges and solutions of recognizing foreign diplomas and qualifications. The presentations were followed by discussions by representatives of public and private universities, NGOs, ministries and others interested in this important issue.
