10.04.2019. CIP, MF and PTF UNZE: BUSINESS DAY FOR STUDENTS
Wednesday, April 10, 2019 was the second business day for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Polytechnic in the implementation of the teaching process in the academic year 2018/19. As part of classes at the Department of Industrial Engineering and CIM Systems, they visited several business systems in Central Bosnia. After departure from Zenica at 7:30 a.m., it started at 8:30 a.m. with a visit to the NOBIL Nova Bila business system, where the first visit was organized to a very interesting business system for the production of mattresses and beds. Students were able to get acquainted with very modern materials and new technologies (memory foams, new ways of making and connecting springs, etc.). The friendly hosts arranged a very interesting visit with expert explanations from people from marketing and production. After that, between 10 and 11:30 a.m., there was a visit to the Turbe Foundry, which is part of the POBJEDA Tešanj business system. The hosts of the visit were director Emir Jašarević and Mensur Arifaj, who together with their colleagues gave a detailed description of the production process, which was followed by a tour of the plant for making models and cores, preparing and making molds, casting furnaces, the casting process, shaking out the molds, and subsequent processing and quality control. As part of the next visit, the students will see the machining of the castings obtained in this way, which will give them a complete picture of the creation of a pump or another product from the Pobjeda program. From 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., a visit to the PALAVRA Furniri business system in Biloj was arranged. Students had the opportunity to see and familiarize themselves with the technology of peeling and scraping veneers from different types of wood. This company is the largest regional producer of veneers and almost all production is exported to the countries of the EU, Japan, America, etc. And at the end of the business day from 1:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a visit to the business system FIS - Ambienta in Vitez was arranged. From several production factories that FIS has in the Vitez Business Zone (PC 96), the students saw the production of plywood and chipboard furniture.
