30.07.2019. CIP AND MF UNZE: EXPANDING COOPERATION WITH TURKISH PARTNERS

On 30.07.2019. in the Office for International Cooperation of the International University in Sarajevo (IUS), a meeting was held between the director of CIP UNZA, Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, and the head of the Office for International Cooperation, Mr. Zuchel Governor. Prof. Petković presented the CIP and MF UNZE and strategic priorities in the projects and development of the MF and the ZDK region and invited IUS to expand cooperation, especially to expand cooperation with the Technical University in Istanbul, with which IUS has dual degrees in certain fields of technology. TU Istanbul (TUI) is the oldest Turkish university founded in 1773 when the seafaring school began to operate. Soon, already in 1795, the study of civil engineering was renewed, which in 1883 grew into the College of Engineering. Today, TUI has more than 30 graduate studies in engineering sciences, starting from construction management, through electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, ecology, food technology, architecture, maritime, material engineering and design. Today's teaching process is realized in 5 campuses in Istanbul with a number of innovation centers such as ITU ARI Teknokent, ITU-KOSGEB (Incubation Center), ITUNOVA TTU (Technology Transfer Center), INNOGATE (Start.up Center) and others. Cooperation with other IUS partners in Turkey was also agreed with Mrs. Zuhel, especially in the domain of woodworking and metalworking technologies, and during the first visit of TUI representatives, their visit to UNZE will also be organized. Then the elements of potential mobility in the Erasmus+ and Mevlana programs between IUS, UNZE and TUI will be defined.
