6/10/2018 MF AND CIP UNZE: PARTICIPATION IN THE PRODUCTION ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE IN GERMANY

The eighth international conference PRODUCTION ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT jointly organized by the University of Applied Sciences Ostwestfalen-Lippe (Campus Lemgo-www.hs-owl.de) and the University of Trieste (Italy –www.units.it) was held at the Lemgo campus, Germany. The conference with UNZE was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić and the Director of CIP UNZE Prof. Dr. Darko Petković with fellow deans of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Mostar and Banja Luka. The conference opened with introductory papers on the topics: Dissimilar Metal Joints-Laser-Based Manufacturing Process for Components for Tomorrow - prof. A. Springer et al., Process Control for Selective Laser Melting - Prof. A. Huxol and Prof. J. Vilmer and Agile Production Planning and Control – Requirements for Industry 4.0. – Prof. E. Hartweg. In the afternoon, Dean Hadžikadunić and Prof. Petković visited the faculty's laboratories with special insight into the FABlab for woodworking technologies and the new SMART Factory, which received the status of a German research laboratory (Fraunhofer Institute).
