8/10/2018 MF AND CIP UNZE: VISIT TO THE MIELE COMPANY, GUTERSLOCH, GERMANY

Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić and Director of CIP UNZE Prof. Dr. Darko Petković visited the renowned German company MIELE in Guterslosch, Germany. This company, which has been in existence for more than 119 years and which was founded as a familiar Miele family, is today one of the leaders in the world of white goods (washing machines, vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, dishwashers and professional equipment for hotels, hospitals, restaurants, etc.) . In addition to several factories in Germany, there are also several factories throughout Europe and the world. In Gutersloch is the head office, development department and production with more than 6,000 employees and represents the largest factory of the MIELE concern. After the presentation of the company in the directorate, delegations from Bosnia and Herzegovina (deans of mechanical engineering faculties from Zenica, Mostar and Banja Luka, representatives of ZEDA, CIP and GIZ) visited production facilities and assembly lines for the production of washing machines. They had the opportunity to see one of the most modern production lines from this production activity in the world, which is largely based on the postulates of the Industry 4.0 concept.
