12/11/2018 CIP and MF UNZE: THE SECOND SEMINAR WAS HELD IN THE GIZ-RIPEUD PROJECT
In the Multimedia Center of the University of Zenica, the second Seminar was held within the project DEVELOPMENT OF THE INNOVATIVE PROCESS OF EDUCATION AND NETWORKING IN THE FIELD OF WOODWORKING IN CENTRAL BOSNIA, entitled MODERN PRODUCTION CONCEPTS IN BUSINESS IN THE WOOD PROCESSING SECTOR which was held 11/10/2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The seminar offered participants an introduction to the possibilities of applying modern production and business concepts in the wood processing sector (Lean and GT concept). After the design elements of the preparation of the stands for the fair performances, the logistical aspects of the performances at the fairs were discussed. After the introductory ones considerations about the GIZ-RIPEUD project prof. Darko Petković, Ph.D., the Lean concept in the wood processing industry was spoken by Assoc. Ph.D. Alan Lisica, on Coding and classification of products in the wood processing industry - Possibilities of applying the GT concept, a lecture and practical exercise was held by prof. Dr. Darko Petković and assistant Emir Đulić, and on the logistics aspects of companies' participation in trade fairs, Senad Pašalić, B.Sc. Director of ZEDA. From 15:00 to 17:00 h, the concluding deliberations, discussion and lunch followed. The Seminar was attended by 27 representatives of companies in the wood processing and related sectors, as well as students of the MF UNZE. The next seminar, which will cover the topics of design development in woodworking and the continuation of the topic of business English, is planned for October 25 (Thursday). Participation in the seminars is free.
