06/09/04/2016. TEMPUS RESI: SEMINAR IN MOSTAR

Džemal Bijedić University from Mostar hosted a multi-day seminar on the Tempus project RESI - the project "Renewable Energy Studies in Western Balkan Countries". At this meeting, the UNZE team was represented by prof. Dr. Šefket Goletić, head of the UNZE team, prof. Dr. Darko Petković, TTO project manager for UNZE, assistant. Ph.D. Nusret Imamović, CoE of the UNZE team and Dean of the Ministry of Finance, Assoc. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić. In a very meaningful multi-day work, project teams from five universities of the Western Balkans (Zenica, Podgorica, Mostar and 2 from Albania) presented the effects of the realization of the master's study (doc. Imamović), preparations for the PhD study (prof. dr. Petković) and the results of cooperation with the economy (Prof. Dr. Petković). Team leader prof. Goletić and Dean Hadžikadunić worked on the preparation of the mobility of students of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the University of Warsaw, and especially on the development of cooperation with the Technical Universities in Sofia and Bratislava. As a result of this project, the Master's course "Renewable energy sources and ecological sustainability" will begin at the MF UNZE in October, as well as an equipped modern ecology laboratory, and soon, in addition to the wind turbine on the roof of the MF, there will also be a "solar tree" at the entrance to the MF. resi-seminar-mo-160410-1With its innovative proposals, the UNZE team attracted the attention of all project participants, especially in the segment of PhD study solutions, which was accepted as the basis for the future WBC network, and with highly developed cooperation with the business sector. During the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to visit the Grabovica Hydroelectric Power Plant and the Hodovo Solar Energy Plant near Stolac. Otherwise, the RESI project has been very successful in all its aspects (administration, implementation of work packages, etc.) led by the University of Hohenheim from Stuttgart (Germany), founded in 1818, which was also represented on this occasion by prof. Miller along with representatives of 5 other EU universities and representatives of the business sector from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania.
