CONGRATULATIONS FOR AMELA TUKU!

The Rector of the University of Zenica, in his own name and on behalf of the management and employees of the University of Zenica, sends sincere congratulations to Amel Tuka for winning the silver medal at the World Athletics Championships in Doha.

In addition to writing a historic success for Bosnia and Herzegovina in athletics, Amel also successfully completed his studies at our University, and showed that a top sports career can be achieved while simultaneously passing exams and studying. Namely, Amel Tuka studied at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica and in December 2018 he defended his graduation thesis and obtained the title of graduate mechanical engineer, and on October 26, at the Promotion of Graduates of the I and II Cycle of Studies in the City Arena, "Husejin Smajlović" will celebrate him be awarded a diploma.
