Participation in the 6th International Student Conference ISC 2019 in Bor

A group of 15 students accompanied by a professor from the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology is in the period from 25-28 September 2019. visited Bor and Belgrade, and as part of the student professional excursion, which included the participation of students at the 6th International Student Conference ISC 2019 in Bor. The organizer of this conference is the Faculty of Engineering in Bor, University of Belgrade, and the co-organizers are the Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Materials and Metallurgy, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, University of Zenica, Faculty of Metallurgy in Sisak, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Pristina.

Senior students had the opportunity to present their work at this conference through oral presentations and poster sections. As in the previous two years, the award for the best presented paper went to a student of the Faculty of Neš, Lamija Sušić - a graduate student from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, who was also awarded with the award "Dragana Živković" and an appropriate gift. During this visit, the students visited the Faculty of Technology in Bor, as well as the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade. During the excursion, the students also visited the Mehmed Pasha Sokolović bridge in Višegrad, the tourist settlement on Zlatibor, the Felix Romuliana archaeological site - Gamzigrad near Zaječar from the 4th century, where the archaeometallurgy of Serbia was presented to them, and the House of Flowers in Belgrade.
