23.05.2016. MF AND CIP UNZE: VISIT TO BUSINESS SYSTEMS IN HERZEGOVINA

In the framework of teaching in several teaching contents, teaching staff and students of the 3rd and 4th years Several business systems of Herzegovina visited the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The first and second visits were made to the recycling systems in Konjic and Mostar, where the students of the Department of Environmental Engineering had the opportunity to see two very modern concepts of collecting and sorting secondary raw materials. In the continuation of the full-day visit program, a visit to the Aluminij factory in Mostar was arranged, where after the presentation of this well-known system in the administrative building, a visit to the Anode, Electrolysis and Foundry facilities was arranged. The students had the opportunity to hear detailed explanations from the plant manager about the technological and production processes in each of the plants with an emphasis on modern methods used in plant maintenance and environmental preservation and humanization of working conditions.

The students and staff of MF and CIP UNZE ended their visit to Aluminij with a visit to the beautiful gardens where they could see how important this system is to preserving the environment and the importance of cooperation with the community. At the end of the working day, a visit was made to TP Inter in Mostar, where the president of the Board of Directors of TP Mostar, Mr. Davor Krezić received basic information about TP Inter today and watched two films: Svjetla strana Herzegovina and Alfaterm today. Special attention of the students was attracted by the training center for CNC technologies Teximp and the laboratory for the development of 3D prototypes. Information about the visits of UNZE students and staff was covered in their daily reports by newspapers from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the discussions with the management of the business systems that were visited, there was talk of the development of business and technical cooperation between the MF and CIP UNZE with these systems, and the current study programs and the most important projects on which the MF and CIP are working were presented.
