16.09.2016. CIP AND UNZA DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY: PARTICIPATION IN THE SEMINAR IN MOSTAR

The director of CIP UNZE Prof. Darko Petković and representatives of the Department of Ecology Prof. Šefket Goletić, Ph.D. Nusret Imamović and Ph. D. Džafer Dautbegović participated in the work of the seminar. INNOVATIONS IN THE GREEN INDUSTRY which was held at TP Inter in Mostar. The following topics are presented in the interesting agenda of the seminar: Green Growth - trends, opportunities, challenges and experiences - Morten Halvorsen (Senior Consultant, Norway);  Application of Circular Economy –  Vedad Suljić (Ceteor doo Sarajevo); Innovative solution for the peak load of electricity consumption. Energy -  Patrick Liddy (Activation Energy LLC, Ireland);  Project 'Anaerobic treatment of dairy waste' -  dr. Kristīne Ruģele (Riga Technical University, Latvia);  Electronic solutions for resource management- Matija Puškar (Byte Lab doo Zagreb); Collection and recycling of electronic waste- Daniel Krešić (Eco Balkan, BiH/Germany). During the seminar, there were plenty of opportunities for discussions and especially significant networking with the aim of further cooperation. The seminar was excellently organized by the TP Mostar team with whose management representatives of the Department of Environmental Engineering and CIP UNZE discussed some new topics important for this field and the organization of future seminars in this field. In bilateral talks with representatives of the business sector from Herzegovina, the UNZE team presented the RESI Tempus project and invited them to cooperate within this project as well as for wider business ties with UNZE.
