On this day, state bodies, companies and other legal entities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not work.

The law on declaring March 1 as the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina", number 9/95) stipulates that March 1 is the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is celebrated for one day, on the day of the holiday itself. .

Bearing in mind the importance of this national holiday and the fact that this calendar year March 1 falls on a Sunday, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed a Decision 2.3.2020. years declared a non-working day in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
