22/25.01.2017. QA OFFICE: DISSEMINATION AT THE TEMPUS PROJECT DEVELOPING THE NATIONAL FRAMEWORK FOR QUALIFICATIONS IN SARAJEVO

The University of Sarajevo, although not a formal participant in the project, was the host of the consortium on the Tempus project for the development of the national qualifications framework ("Bosnia and Herzegovina Qualifications Framework for Higher Education - BHQFHE") led by the German University of Paderborn. In the final phase of the project (extension for approx. 6 months after approval by the EU), several major dissemination events are planned, among which the dissemination conference in Sarajevo was a sequence of activities after the conference in Bonn in December 2016. In the opening part of the session at the Rectorate of UNSA, after the welcoming addresses of the vice-rector and representatives of the MCA of the Council of Ministers of BiH

followed by presentations by Nick Cartwright from the University of Northampton - UK, Prof. Dr. Mile Dzelalija from the University of Split and Dr. Iringa Wasser from the CEENQA Agency. In the afternoon hours of 23.01. representatives of 6 public universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNZE, UNMO, SVEMO, UIS, UNTZ and UNBI) also had their presentations. Representatives of UNZE Nebojša Vasić, Ph.D., and Darko Petković, Ph.D., in addition to a cross-section of key activities at UNZE in the project, presented the development of the study program Design and Technologies in Wood Processing (DTD) based on the needs of the labor market and the way in which the business sector was involved in the development of the project. , chambers of commerce, partner universities, ministries, etc. On the second day of work, partners from governmental and non-governmental agencies from BiH (SUS BiH, HEA BiH, HEA RS, etc.) spoke about the importance of the NQF for BiH. Dr. Bernd Gossling and Ahmet Mehić from the University of Paderborn moderated the discussion about the preparation of the Proceedings with key results and case studies from the project that will be implemented in the coming months, as well as the inclusion of the final results of the project in the national report of BiH on achievements in the development of the NQF, which should be do.
