LAST GREETINGS DR.SC. TO EDINU TERZIĆ

Friends, work colleagues and employees of the University of Zenica said goodbye to Dr. sc. Edin Terzic. The commemoration was held in the premises of the "Kemal Kapetanović" Institute of the University of Zenica.

Last greetings to Dr. sc. Edina Terzić was referred by Ph.D. Mustafa Hadžalić, director of the Kemal Kapetanović Institute, Ph.D. Raif Seferović, Ph.D. Mirsada Oruč and Narcisa Jarović Bajramović.

"With the death of Edin Terzić, Zenica lost a scientist who achieved significant scientific results during his long career at the Institute. Edin Terzić was the initiator of the establishment of the Center for Environmental Monitoring at the Institute, and he made a significant contribution to science through the creation of numerous scientific works and expertise," said Dr.Sc. today. Mustafa Hadžalić.

FROM THE BIOGRAPHY:

Edin Terzić was born in 1954 in Zenica, where he completed primary and secondary school. He graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials, where he continued his education and obtained the title of Master of Science. He defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Development of a prototype apparatus for calibration of contact sensors for measuring the temperature of a solid surface" at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica and obtained the title of Doctor of Science.

He started his work at the Zenica Ironworks, and from 1987 until his retirement, he was an employee of the "Kemal Kapetanović" Institute.

In addition to his scientific work, Edin Terzić was at one time an advisor to the Minister in the Federal Ministry of the Environment, and the Minister of Spatial Planning, Transport, Communications and Environmental Protection of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

In his many years of scientific research and professional work, he published a total of 46 papers in the field of thermal engineering, energy, process engineering and metrology in the field of temperature, humidity and pressure. As an author, he published 12 scientific-research studies, 5 projects, 9 expertise and 15 expert papers, and 10 papers in reference journals, Congresses, Conferences and Symposia. As a co-author, he published 4 scientific-research studies and 5 expertises.
