Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković elected rector of the University of Zenica

At the session held on March 5, 2021, the Senate of the University of Zenica elected Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Jusuf Duraković as rector of the University of Zenica.

Prof. Ph.D. sc. Jusuf Duraković completed his primary and secondary education in Kakanj, and graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy in 1989 in Zenica. For excellent success in his studies, he was awarded the Silver Badge of the University of Sarajevo. He was a student vice dean for two terms and a student demonstrator. After completing his studies, he got a job at the company "Vatrostalna" dd Zenica as a designer of industrial furnaces. Then he moved to the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials in 2000. He obtained his master's degree in 1999, and defended his doctoral dissertation in 2006. He was elected to all positions, from assistant to full professor at the University of Zenica. He is currently the head of the department and teaches several subjects: Fuels and combustion, Industrial furnaces and application of refractory materials, Heat transfer, Thermal engineering, Energy efficiency.
