19/22.02.2017. MF AND CIP UNZE: STUDY VISIT TO GERMANY

The delegation of the Ministry of Finance and CIP UNZA, Cementara Kakanj and Municipality of Kakanj stayed in the period 19-22.02.2017. in a study visit to RWTH Aachen and several business systems of the province of Hessen. The program started on February 19. working evening with the host Prof. Dr. Thomas Pretz, who presented the institute he heads and the plan of visits and work during this study visit of the delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Germany. On the second day, a full-day visit was made to several important business systems in the field of RDF technologies, namely: Friedberg, a visit to a waste treatment plant where only mechanical waste treatment is carried out, then a visit to the company's headquarters in Solms and a presentation of the activities of Herhof GmbH and at the end of the working day days and visits to facilities in Rennerod where MBO technologies are presented. The return was in the evening to Aachen, after more than 500 kilometers traveled and three very meaningful visits. On the third day of their stay, the UNZE delegation (prof. Goletić, prof. Petković, prof. Sredojević, prof. Hadžikadunić, doc. Imamović, doc. Dautbegović) with the team of Cementara Kakanj had a whole day of work and practical tests at the University of Aachen (RWTH) in progress which is hosted by prof. Pretz presented the most important technological and economic parameters of RDF technologies and in the laboratories presented all stages of processing up to the final product of this technology. There was also talk about the organization of PhD studies at UNZE and the potential participation of professors from RWTH in its implementation, with special emphasis on NIR work in the laboratories of this eminent university. The seminar and presentations at RWTH concluded this very important visit for the team from UNZE as well as the representatives of Cementara Kakanj and Kakanj Municipality.
