06.10.2021. CIP AND MF UNZE: INTERACTIVE PRACTICUM ON EU PROJECT TALENT-MAGNET

The expert service for development and international projects of ZDK within the framework of the EU-Interreg program held an interactive workshop in Hotel Dubrovnik in Zenica on the TalentMagnet project "Improved Institutional Capacities abd Multilevel Governance for Talent Attraction and Retention in the Danubie Region" at a higher level to attract and retain talent in the Danube region). The goal of the practicum was to prepare key stakeholders for the creation of a Local plan for attracting and retaining talent. The workshop was led by Mr. Bojan Bošnjak and Emir Bihorac, who presented the project, a strategic approach to attracting and retaining talent with a very active exchange of ideas and discussion by all students. On behalf of UNZA, the CIP of UNZA is a participant in this project, represented by Prof. Dr. Darko Petković, and students from the Department of Design and Technologies in Wood Processing participated in earlier workshops and seminars. The "TalentMagnet" project aims to strengthen institutional capacities and establish new levels of management in the Danube area, in order to solve the problem of emigration of talented young people. The project is aimed at solving the main social challenges (demographic and labor market), caused by the emigration of highly educated young people primarily from smaller areas (brain drain). The project will improve existing institutional capacities, develop 13 strategies and pilot activities, as well as policy proposals for the establishment of new management models. The TalentMagnet project is co-financed from the funds of the European Union (ERDF, IPA, ENI).
