SIGNED MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA AND THE ZENICA EMPLOYERS' ASSOCIATION
Today, in the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the University of Zenica and the Zenica Employers' Association took place. The memorandum was signed by the Rector, Prof. Dr.Sc. Jusuf Duraković on behalf of the University of Zenica and Mrs. Senaida Turkić, President of the Management Board of the Zenica Employers' Association on behalf of the Association, in the presence of Mr. Mladen Perić, President of the Assembly of the Zenica Employers' Association and Mrs. Benjamina Šaranović, the Secretary of the Zenica Employers' Association.
"Today, the future cooperation between two institutions: the University of Zenica and the Association of Employers of Zenica was concreted. Also, this is an opportunity for our students to get complete information about which legal entities are interested in cooperating tomorrow and give students the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge through practice. All past experiences show that our students are theoretically well trained, however, they have very little of that practical part," said Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković, rector of the University of Zenica.
"By signing the Memorandum today, we have opened our Association to the University and students. We are happy and satisfied because we currently have a rector who comes from business and who understands our problems very well, and that we have a member of the academic community in the position of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. Cooperation between employers and students is very important, especially at a time when young people are leaving en masse. This is an opportunity for students to come to the employer, to see what it is that we actually do, and for us to educate those students who are good and to give them scholarships and in this way keep them to stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina" - emphasized Mrs. Senaida Turkić, president of the Management Board of the Zenica Employers' Association.
