Signed agreement on cooperation between the University of Zenica and JU Pensionerski dom with an inpatient facility

Today, in the Rector's Office, the signing of the Agreement on Cooperation between the University of Zenica and the Pensioner's Home with Inpatient Hospital was held. The agreement was signed by prof. Ph.D. sc. Jusuf Duraković, rector of the University of Zenica and Mr. Damir Jukić, director of the JU Pensionerski dom with an inpatient facility.

At the meeting, it was pointed out that this Agreement will deepen the existing cooperation between the two institutions, and that the possibility of professional practice for students of the Faculty of Medicine will be of particular importance, given that the Pensioners' Home is mainly occupied by users who require certain health care. In addition to professional student practice, cooperation will also be established on the implementation of various projects, the organization of professional conferences, seminars and other activities in the interest of both institutions.

Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković thanked for the initiative to sign the Agreement and pointed out that: "this is a good opportunity for our future doctors to be able to do the practical part here in Zenica and our canton." In this way, we expand the infrastructural base, both technically and professionally, and create the conditions for our Faculty of Medicine to become recognizable."
