The University of Zenica promoted doctors of science, masters and graduates

In the Husejin Smajlović City Arena today, in the presence of representatives of embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton and numerous dignitaries, the Promotion of the graduates of the first, second and third cycle of studies at the University of Zenica was held, where 13 PhDs, 37 masters and 362 graduates. This year, four graduates of the first generation of the General Medicine study program were promoted to the title of Doctor of Medicine.

Rector's Awards were presented today to 14 students who achieved the best success during their studies, as well as dean's awards to 64 students who achieved the best success during the academic year.

In his address, Prof. Ph.D.Sc. Jusuf Duraković, rector of the University of Zenica, said:

"This is an enviable result of the University of Zenica. I would like to proudly point out that today we are also promoting the first generation of medical doctors from our Faculty of Medicine. Today, we reward our best students, all three study cycles, with the dean's and rector's awards.

Dear graduates, masters and doctors of science, in this solemn moment for you and your families, but also for society as a whole, I would like to congratulate you on the results achieved, with the wish that your acquired knowledge will be useful both to you and to society as a whole.

I wish all the award-winning students, all those who received their diplomas today, good health and quick employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina."

 "I know that it was not easy to get a diploma, because it takes a lot of study, effort, work and sacrifice, but you have successfully passed this stage in your life and I congratulate you on that. You become academic citizens, and our Zenica-Doboj canton is richer for new experts of all professions." Mirnes Bašić, Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, said at the ceremony.

Ismet Velić, doctor of legal sciences, addressed those present on behalf of the promoted doctors of science and Elmin Marevac, B.Sc. software engineer on behalf of the awarded students.
