The Rector of the University of Zenica hosted the winners of the Reconnect Hackaton competition

Today, the Rectorate of the University of Zenica hosted a reception for the winners of the "RECONNECT-HACKATHON" competition, which was held from October 14 to 16, 2022, at the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica.

The winners of the competition were hosted today by Prof. Dr.Sc. Jusuf Duraković, Rector of the University of Zenica with the presence of Prof. Ph.D. Samira Lemeša, dean of the Polytechnic Faculty and Prof. Ph.D. Spahije Kozlić, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković congratulated all the participants, and he sent special congratulations to the winners of the individual competition, who are also the youngest Hackathon participants. "I am especially pleased to see that one of the prizes went to a student of the ninth grade of elementary school. This makes me extremely happy, because it is proof that our country has talented young people who will build its future," said the Rector in his address. He also expressed his willingness to support the Polytechnic Faculty in organizing such events.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Zenica-Doboj Canton provided cash prizes for the winners.

The winners in the individual category are: Muamer Parić (1st place), Faruk Ibrahimović (second place) and Alen Avdibegović (third place).

When it comes to team competitions, the first place was won by the Top G team (Amir Begić, Adin Vrbić, Kemal Starčević, Mehmedalija Burić).

Second place was won by the team The Code of Duty (Amar Kamberović, Ajla Brdarević, Ilma Zahirović, Kerim Žuna, Orhan Pojskić). Third place was taken by the team Stack Overflow Enjoyers (Ernes Mušija, Franjo Markić, Semin Murtić, Amer Delić).
