13.-16.03.2017. OFFICE FOR INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION: A WORKSHOP HELD WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ERASMUS+ PROJECT "STINT" IN GENTH (BELGIUM)

KU Leuven University hosted a workshop within the STINT Erasmus+ program project, which was held in the Belgian city of Ghent. The project "Strengthening of Internationalization in B&H Higher Education / STINT" is implemented within program area 2, KA 2 - Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education. During the two-day work, the hosts from KU Leuven conveyed their rich experience in the field of international cooperation to representatives of public universities in BiH, where, among other things, topics in the field of student and teaching staff exchange, international project management, quality assurance, nostrification and equivalence of foreign diplomas were covered. The experiences of the Western European partners in the project from this and the next planned workshops should serve the universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the further development of their internationalization strategies.

In addition to all public universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the host KU Leuven from Belgium - Technology Campus from Ghent, participants in the STINT project include the Polytechnic University of Porto - Portugal (Instituto Politehnico Porto) and Buckinghamshire New University from Great Britain (London). The UNZE team at this workshop consisted of the vice-rector for international cooperation and quality assurance, Prof. Dr. Malik Čabaravdić, ECTS coordinator UNZE, M.Sc. Mirza Oruč and student Adi Hadžić.
