Official visit of the rector of the University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković to the "Karatekin" University in Čankiri

Rector of the University of Zenica prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković and head of the Turkish language and literature study program at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zenica, prof. Ph.D. Edina Solak are on an official visit to the "Karatekin" University in Cankiri. The University of Zenica and the University of "Karatekin" in Čankiri have a very successful cooperation, within which the exchange of students and teaching staff in both directions stands out. The primary goal of the official visit to the "Karatekin" University in Čankiri is to improve the existing cooperation and initiate processes for the realization of other types of cooperation in the field of teaching and scientific research projects. On Thursday, September 28, 2023, Rector Duraković and Prof. Ph.D. Edina Solak visited the Department of Turkish Language and Literature of the Faculty of Literature and the Faculty of Economics of the "Karatekin" University in Çankiri. Representatives of the University of Zenica and the University of "Karatekin" in Çankiri discussed the possibilities of implementing dual degree programs and joint scientific research projects. On Friday, September 29, 2023, the rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Ph.D. Jusuf Duraković attended the Rector's Conference of the Association of Universities of the Western Black Sea Region in the Republic of Turkey. At the aforementioned conference, Rector Duraković gave an introductory presentation in which he presented the history and organizational structure of the University of Zenica. In addition, Rector Duraković invited the rectors of all universities that are part of the Association of Universities of the Western Black Sea Region in the Republic of Turkey to grace the Solemn Academy of the University of Zenica with their presence, which will be held at the Bosnian National Theater in Zenica on October 18, 2023.
