- Request for the issuance of approval/extension of approval for temporary residence in BiH (the form can be downloaded from the field center or from the official website of the Service, it must be legibly filled in by hand or electronically, signed by the applicant and printed on one sheet of paper, both sides),
- 150 KM administrative fee for approval/extension of temporary stay,
- Photo of recent date, format 35×45 mm,
- Photocopy of passport (page with general data, last entry into BiH, visa for long-term stay visa «D» BiH) - the validity period of the travel document should be at least three months longer than the period for which the temporary residence permit is requested,
- Photocopy of the foreigner's residence application form - "white card" (only when submitting a request for temporary residence approval),
- Photocopy of the last decision/notification on approved temporary residence or temporary residence approval stickers (only when submitting a request for extension of temporary residence),
- Confirmation of enrollment at an educational institution for the current academic year,
- Confirmation that the foreigner participates in the student exchange program, i.e. youth mobility, if he is enrolled in an educational institution on that basis,
- Certificate of passed exams, is submitted when extending the stay,
- Proof of means of support:
- guarantee statement certified by a municipal administrative authority or a notary in which a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina or a foreigner with an approved residence permit undertakes to bear all the costs of the foreigner's stay with proof of permanent sources of income (possession of cash, bank or pension check, work permit, certificate of employment, employment contract, etc.),
- having cash in a bank account - minimum 400.00 KM per month,
- scholarship or certificate of provided expenses issued by the educational institution, i.e. certificate of exchange of students, from which it is evident that means of subsistence have been provided for the same,
- Medical certificate from which it is evident that the foreigner does not suffer from an illness that poses a threat to public health in BiH, which cannot be older than three months, issued by an authorized health institution for performing a medical examination. A medical certificate is not submitted when extending the stay, except in exceptional cases at the discretion of the competent field center.
- Proof of provided health insurance in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a foreigner (health insurance policy, photocopy of health card, proof of registration with the Health Fund, proof of paid individual or collective travel health insurance and other proofs),
- Confirmation - belief that no criminal proceedings are conducted against the foreigner i Confirmation - belief that the foreigner has not been punished for a criminal offense issued by the competent authority of the state, where the foreigner has a usual place of residence that cannot be older than 6 months, and foreigners who submit a request for an extension of temporary stay.
- Evidence of non-conduct of criminal proceedings issued by the competent court in Bosnia and Herzegovina, no later than 6 months before the submission of the request i conviction of impunity issued by the competent Ministry of Interior in BiH if the checks were not submitted through the official channel (proof is not submitted for residence permit),
- Proof of provided accommodation in Bosnia and Herzegovina - proof of ownership of the real estate in which the residential space is located, or a contract for the lease of the residential space, a statement from the landlord with whom the foreigner has secured housing, giving consent for the use of the residential space with proof of ownership or use of the residential space.
All foreign documents must be translated to one of the languages that are in official use in Bosnia and Herzegovina!
All of the above-mentioned evidence must be submitted in original or a certified copy, except for the evidence from points 5 and 6, and the evidence from point 4. is submitted in two copies, one of which is certified, and the other is a plain copy.
