Invitation to participate: 9th Forum of Young Scientists on Central and Southeastern Europe 2024: "Regions as Drivers of European Integration"

Organizer and host of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM), through the Forum invites young students and researchers from all over Europe to present their research, encouraging transnational dialogue and cooperation across borders. Aligned with IDM's vision and mission of promoting democracy, freedom and human rights through regional cooperation, the Forum aims to advance research on European integration by examining the key role of the region. Participants will engage in expert-led panels, explore topics such as decentralized governance and macro-regional strategies, and participate in a social program while strengthening their academic and professional networks. The first two days of the Forum will include four thematic panels moderated by experts, the third day is scheduled for further exchange of participants during a thematically appropriate social program in Vienna and Lower Austria.

- Travel expenses (up to €200) as well as boarding and lodging will be covered by IDM.

- Submit applications for participation in English via e-mail until 30.09.2024.
