15.05.2017 – PROFESSIONAL TEACHING FOR STUDENTS OF THE MECHANICAL AND POLYTECHNIC FACULTY AT THE TAMEX AND MS&WOOD FACTORIES

Students of the Mechanical Engineering and Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, as part of classes on the subjects Production Technologies III and Production Systems and Logistics, stayed on 05/15/2017. accompanied by subject teacher Prof. Dr. Darko Petković and asst. Emir Đulić in working visits to the factories TAMEX in Busovača and MS&WOOD in Fojnica. In both very successful business systems of wood processing, which export more than 90% of production to the EU market, students had the opportunity, accompanied by the technical staff of the factories, to visit and observe the complete production process - from primary processing, through dryers, to the department of machining, varnishing, assembly and packaging . A special part of the visit was a conversation about how design solutions are arrived at and a visit to the departments for designing new products. The management of both business systems selflessly shared with the students their experiences from the work and development of relatively young and today very successful business systems such as Tamex and MS&Wood. There was also talk about the development of a dual study concept model at the MF UNZE, which is planned to be implemented in the future, and the need for such personnel on the labor market in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
