Signed agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between ArcelorMittal Zenica, doo and the University of Zenica

On Monday, 05.06.2017. in the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, the Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between ArcelorMittal Zenica, doo and the University of Zenica was signed. This Agreement defines the interests of both signatory parties, namely:

The interest of ArcelorMittal Zenica is reflected in the possibility of more efficient use (according to a simplified procedure) of the potential of the University of Zenica in the field of personnel education, professional information, solving current and development issues through expert consultations, drawing up expertise, studies and other types of technical documents.

The interest of the University of Zenica is reflected in the possibility of more efficient access (according to a simplified procedure) to the facilities and laboratories of ArcelorMittal Zenica, in order to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of equipment and technology development, and the realization of teaching programs.

The common interests and goals mentioned include the following areas:

adaptation of the study program to the needs of ArcelorMittal Zenica, participation in innovating the technological knowledge of ArcelorMittal Zenica employees, expert consultations on technological issues, solving technological disturbances in current production, development and improvement of production with the aim of optimizing the use of raw materials and energy, improving the range and quality of products and achieving product competitiveness on the market, improvement of product quality control and management of technological processes, laboratory services, preparation of bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses, practical and professional practice, operational practicum and student exercises, professional training on request and as needed by ArcelorMittal Zenica and other types of cooperation in mutual interest signatory to the Agreement.
