15.01.2018. PTF, MF AND CIP UNZE: PRACTICAL TEACHING IN PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

In the last week of classes in the winter semester of 2017/18, with the involvement of CIP, MF and PtF, the implementation of practical classes in production systems in Tešnje was arranged. The actual visit was made to the production system of BME, a Dutch company that produces truck trailers and internal transport systems. With the exceptional hospitality of the host, the students had the opportunity to see the complete process of preparation, production and quality control of finished trailers and telescopic belt conveyor systems. The next visit was to the renowned company Enker, where the focus was on observing the production process of making various elements of industrial ceramics. All stages of the production process of products that are not common products in industrial systems in the wider region are reviewed. At the end of the working day, the students visited the company Pobjeda, which is the BH leader in the production of pumps for motor vehicles of renowned manufacturers in the EU. What was particularly impressive for the students was the knowledge that the complete production system, from casting mold parts (models, cores, etc.), through casting to the machining of very complex pump elements and assembly with control, is the work of experts and employees of Pobjeda. This was an excellent opportunity to, in addition to the theoretical introduction to various technologies during the lectures, to expand this theoretical knowledge through a practical overview of the preparation of mold casting technologies, CNC production of various machine elements and assemblies, production of industrial ceramics, candles, etc.. With full involvement and dedication host in all production systems, students of MF and PtF were given an excellent opportunity to expand and complete their knowledge. Such visits are also an opportunity for students to become familiar with successful production systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
