17.07.2018. CIP AND MF UNZE: MEETING REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BIESSE TRAINING CENTER IN ZENICA

At the Rectorate of the University of Zenica on 17 July 2018. In 2009, the director of CIP UNZE and the head of the RIPEUD project, Prof. Darko Petković, PhD, had separate meetings with the project manager of UNZE, Dino Eminović, MSc, regarding the drafting of the contract on private-public partnership that should be concluded between UNZE and ZDK on the one hand, and BH Biesse Service as representative of the BIESSE company on the other hand. After the stated position and desire for the construction of a training center and show room on the UNZE campus, which was submitted to the ZDK management and the ZDK Government in March 2018, this project received the green light from the UNZE college and the clear support of the ZDK Government. A preliminary project was completed and urban planning approval was obtained. Prof. Petković emphasized in the conversation with the rector Prof. Dr. D. Kukić and M.Sc. Eminović on the need to intensify activities on the drafting of the Private Public Partnership Agreement and the formation of a team at UNZE that will actively work on this work in order to welcome the start of the construction of this center as soon as possible and its connection with the new study department - Design and technologies in wood processing. Prof. Petković presented to Rector Kukić the activities carried out so far on the GIZ-RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia.
