30.08.2018. CIP-MF UNZE: VISIT TO ARTISAN AND PROCESS COMPANIES IN TEŠNJ

In order to promote the study Design and Technology in Wood Processing - DTD and within the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia, the representative of the MF UNZE prof. Dr. Darko Petković paid a working visit to eminent companies from the woodworking sector in Tešnje - Artisan and Pobjeda. Prof. Petković presented to the managements of these companies the concept of the DTD study, with special emphasis that the study is conceived as a combination of theory and practice that will provide the best required competencies and knowledge for managing processes in wood processing factories and a higher degree of finalization of finished products and better output quality. CEO of Artisan (Arteco) ing. Elvedin Mandžukić particularly expressed his interest in subjects that connect technology and design, and emphasized Artisan's constant interest in providing quality human resources that the company works on. In the Process company, there was special talk about the organization of production after the fire in the company in the second quarter of 2018 and the restructuring of the company that followed. Ing. Mandžukić opened up some of the issues of cooperation between UNZE and the company Artisan, and there was talk about the acquisition of a new mobile modern scanner that will significantly improve the capabilities of the IDEA-lab center at MF UNZE. In this sense, MF UNZE is planning a series of seminars soon on various topics of interest to wood processing factories.
