12.09.2018. MF UNZE: TRIPLE HELIX MODEL ACTOR'S MOU SIGNED

The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was the place where key actors in the process of developing a new study model in the field of woodworking at UNZE signed the protocol. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Associate Professor, Dr. Dženan Kulović, the Vice-President of the Economic and Business Council of the University of Zenica, Ph.D. Šefkija Botonjić and Minister of Science, Education, Culture and Sports Mensur Sinanović, prof. The signing was attended by the organizers of the signing: CIP UNZA director Prof. Darko Petković, representatives of the GIZ Prolocal project Mr. Krunoslav Rašić and Karl Heinz Jach and Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mr. Bodul Željko. In the discussions of the actors of this solemn and working act, there was talk of the results of the application of the Triple Helix model at UNZE, and especially in the wood processing sector. Prof. Petković presented the RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of woodworking in Central Bosnia, the current level of preparations for the construction of the BIESSE training center in Zenica, and the expected competition for enrolling students in the new study of Design and Technologies in Woodworking at the MF UNZE, as well as expectations MoF and other member states from new potential EU projects. Minister Sinanović and Dr. Botonjić emphasized the importance of dual education, the problems it brings, as well as the results achieved in the field of secondary education. Dean Hadžikadunić thanked GIZ for the practical help in the implementation of projects at the Ministry of Finance, especially in the last 2-3 years since the cooperation has intensified.
