The beginning of the academic year at the University of Zenica

Today, the University of Zenica officially marked the beginning of the 2018/2019 academic year. years.

At the Faculty of Metallurgy and Technology, starting at 9:00 a.m., a formal reception was held for students of this faculty, as well as for students of the Faculty of Medicine.

On this occasion, the students were welcomed by prof. Ph.D. Damir Kukić, rector of the University of Zenica, Mr. Jasmin Duvnjak, chairman of the ZDK Assembly, prof. Ph.D. Harun Hodžić, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, prof. Ph.D. Enes Hašić, Vice Chancellor for Education and Student Affairs and Denis Vejzović, President of the Student Union.

At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, starting at 10:00, a formal reception was also held for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Polytechnic Faculty, and in addition to the previously mentioned representatives of the University and the ZDK Assembly, the deans of these two faculties addressed the students, prof. Ph.D. Fuad Hadžikadunić, dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and prof. Ph.D. Sabahudin Jašarević, Dean of the Polytechnic Faculty.

At all other faculties of the University of Zenica, an appropriate program was organized for newly enrolled students.

Today, among other things, it was pointed out that the University of Zenica, in cooperation with the Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, will work on improving the conditions of studying at the University of Zenica, as well as the development of sports, cultural and other activities. In favor of that, it is also necessary to point out that today was the first performance of the University Choir, which has been operating for the last six months under the direction of maestro Milenko Karović.
