Competition for the election of the vice-rector of the University of Zenica

Based on the Decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica, on the announcement of a competition for the election of the vice-rector of the University of Zenica, number: 01-02-5-3475/18 dated 03.10.2018. year, the University of Zenica publishes

 

COMPETITION
for the election of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Zenica

 

I

The competition for the election of the vice-rector of the University of Zenica is announced, as follows:

1. Vice Chancellor for Teaching and Student Affairs,
2. Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, i
3. Vice Chancellor for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance.

 

II

A candidate who meets the following general conditions can be elected vice-rector of the University of Zenica:

1. that he is a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
2. that he is older than 18 years,
3. that the candidate for vice-rector is not prosecuted for a criminal offense and an economic offense incompatible with the function of vice-rector,
4. that he has not been convicted of a criminal offense and an economic offense incompatible with the function of vice-rector.

 

In addition to the general conditions stipulated in the Statute of the University of Zenica (Refined text), the candidate should meet the following special conditions:

1. that the teacher holds the scientific-teaching title of full or part-time professor, who meets the legal requirements,
2. to actively know at least one world language,
3. that he does not have a position in the executive bodies of a political party or an organization associated with a political party.

 

III

The vice-rector is appointed for a period of 4 (four) years.

IV

During the duration of the mandate, if he is not in such a status, the vice-chancellor establishes a full-time labor-legal status at the University, which is proven by a statement certified by the competent authority.

 

V

With application candidates for vice-rector are required to submit evidence of fulfilling the prescribed conditions, namely:

1. A short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number and e-mail address,
2. Certificate of citizenship, in accordance with point II subpoint 1 of the general conditions,
3. Birth certificate, in accordance with point II subpoint 2 of the general conditions,
4. The decision on the appointment to the position of full-time or part-time professor, in accordance with point II subpoint 1 of the special conditions,
5. Certificate of active knowledge of at least one world language, in accordance with point II subpoint 2 of the special conditions,
6. A statement certified by the competent authority that he does not hold a position in the executive bodies of a political party or an organization associated with a political party, in accordance with point II subpoint 3 of the special conditions,
7. A statement certified by the competent authority about the intention to establish a full-time employment-legal status at the University of Zenica, if the candidate is not in the specified status, in accordance with point IV of the Competition.

 

The documents mentioned in the previous paragraph must be original or certified copies not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition.

 

The candidate is obliged to sign the Application for the Competition and a short Biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number and e-mail address, in the opposite application candidate consider ce are incomplete.

 

VI

The candidate who is elected by the decision of the Senate of the University of Zenica is obliged to submit to the Competition Committee for the election of the vice-chancellor of the University of Zenica, within 7 (seven) days from the date of the election session of the Senate of the University of Zenica, the certificates/verifications of the competent courts in accordance with point II sub-point 3. of the general terms and conditions and confirmation/verification of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in accordance with point II sub-point 4 of the general terms of the Competition.

The above-mentioned certificates/verifications, not older than 3 (three) months from the date of issue by the competent authorities, the candidate submits in the original or a certified copy.

 

VII

Applications with all necessary evidence must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the Competition in the daily newspaper.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidate are once application with to all necessary evidence in closed envelopes mohe report only on one position vice-rector. If are candidate reports on youshe of one positions vice-rector  mandatory is deliver separate applications with to all necessary evidence in separated closed envelopes, in the opposite application candidate consider ce are messy.

The application for the Competition with the necessary attachments must be submitted in a sealed envelope by registered mail or to the protocol of the rector's office of the University of Zenica, to the address:

Incomplete, untimely and untidy applications will not be considered.
