8th Scientific and Professional Conference Business Development 2018: "Economic Challenges of Countries in Transition"
The two-day 8th scientific-professional conference Business Development 2018 - "Economic challenges of countries in transition" organized by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zenica started today in the Dubrovnik hotel.
On the first day of the conference, six keynote speakers are scheduled to discuss various current topics faced by the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as internal and external influences in terms of strengthening their competitiveness and the development of national economies.
At the opening of the conference, the attendees were addressed by: Prof. Ph.D. Damir Kukić, rector of the University of Zenica, Mr. Zlatko Jelić, Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Mr. Miralem Galijašević, Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton and Assoc. Ph.D. Alaudin Brkić, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Zenica.
The keynote speakers on the first day are:
- Dr. Dragan Đuričin, Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, member of the Presidency of the Association of Serbian Economists and long-time president of that association "Transitional wanderings of the economies of the Western Balkan countries with consequences for their competitiveness and level of economic development - a critical review".
