20.11.2018. CIP, MF AND PTF UNZE: PRACTICAL LESSONS AND BUSINESS DAY FOR STUDENTS IN TEŠNJ

The first big business day for the implementation of practical classes in the winter semester of the academic year 2018/19. for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Polytechnic, it was Tuesday, December 20, 2018, when they visited 4 business systems in Tešnje as part of their classes at the Department of Industrial Engineering and CIM Systems.

The practical teaching process began with a visit to the KALIM Tešanj business system - a successful private company that deals with the implementation of various production programs. After the welcoming address of the owner Adem Kantić and his associates, a visit and presentation of the work of lines for cold forming of profiles, lines for welding and tailoring (truck and tractor trailers, metal frames for furniture, construction industry, etc.), water jet cutting, etc. was arranged.

Second in line was the eminent business system ARTISAN. In the new office space, the students saw the departments of material preparation and drying, as well as finishing and assembly. In a conversation with CoE ing. From Elvedin Mandžukić, the students had the opportunity to hear numerous interesting elements about Artisan's business concept, design solutions, how the design grows into a constructive solution that is sent to the manufacturing plant for packaging and shipping of finished products.

The third business system was also from the wood processing sector - the company PROCESS. This production system, which has only existed for a few years, has already gained the reputation of the largest BH producer of oak galvanized panels of various dimensions. In the address of the director and owner Jasmin Kalabić and his associates, the students heard about the plans for the development of the company, and after that, during a tour of the plant and presented production processes, they could see how products are created in this business system.

Professor D. Petković, PhD, presented to the hosts in two wood processing systems the new study program Design and Technologies in Wood Processing (DTD) at the MF UNZE as well as the GIZ-RIPEUD project - Development of an innovative process of education and networking in the field of wood processing in Central Bosnia.

At the end of the working day, there was a visit to the oldest business system and certainly one of the industry brands in Tešnje - the POBJEDA company. Students divided into three groups had the opportunity to see how the basic products of this company are made — pumps for the automotive industry as well as pumps for other different purposes (pumps for agricultural machinery, tractors, trucks, etc.). High precision, complexity and quality of the elements made in Pobjeda are the basic characteristics of machining that follows the requirements of well-known product customers such as Mercedes, VW, Audi and others. famous car brands. The host of the UNZE students' visit was the executive director for production, B.Sc. Armin Ćostovic with his team of associates. For PtF students, the primary task during the visit was to see the implementation of various technological processes, for MPT students of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, it was the programming of CNC machines, and for the Department of Maintenance, an insight into the concepts and maintenance technologies implemented by this company.
