Held a lecture on "PROTECTION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN BIH WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE PROTECTION OF SOFTWARE INVENTIONS"
On Monday, 03.12.2018. In 2015, at the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, a lecture was held on the topic "PROTECTION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN BIH WITH A SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE PROTECTION OF SOFTWARE INVENTIONS", which was jointly organized by the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica and the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Ministry of Human rights and refugees of BiH and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), as part of the project "Diaspora for Development - D4D". D4D is a project of the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH and the Government of Switzerland, in partnership with UNDP BiH and IOM BiH.
The lecture was held by Ms. Dragana Marić Mešić, senior patent associate of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH and Mr. Tarik Kapić from Bovard LTD, Patent and Trademark Attorneys, Switzerland.
Mrs. Dragana Marić Mešić presented the legal framework that governs intellectual property rights, i.e. patent and trademark protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also abroad, and clarified the method of application and the path of protection through national, regional and international routes, along with the presentation of specific cases.
Mr. Tarik Kapić, held a lecture on the topic "Protection of inventions implemented using computers" which is particularly useful for students of the software engineering department.
