University of Zenica involved in the project "Nanouptake - Overcoming Barriers to Nanofluids Market Uptake (COST Action CA15119)"
The University of Zenica, through the Polytechnic Faculty, has been involved in another European project since a few days ago. It is about the project Nanouptake - Overcoming Barriers to Nanofluids Market Uptake (COST Action CA15119), which is ongoing, and is implemented within the framework of the European program COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology). The COST program finances the organization of research and innovation networks through special actions that connect research initiatives across Europe and enable researchers to develop and exchange ideas in science and technology. COST actions usually last for four years.
The Nanouptake action serves to create a European network of leading research institutions and industry, with the aim of developing and using so-called 'nanofluids' as advanced working media for heat transfer and accumulation processes in order to increase the efficiency of heat exchangers and thermal energy accumulation systems. By developing nanofluids to the level of commercial use, the Nanouptake action should contribute to the achievement of the goals set in Horizon 2020 Energy and Climate (Societal Challenges 3: Secure, efficient and clean energy; and 6: Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials).
Member of the board of directors of this project in front of our institution V. Prof. dr. Edin Berberović.
