The EU project called "Izgaction of the capacity of the Institute for intellectual property through the establishment of the Institute's information and education centers", in cooperation with the Institute for Education of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, continued on November 5 with a seminar at VTK in Sarajevo. The seminar was led by Mr. Mihajlo ZATEZALO, European patent attorney, from the Petošević organization, who presented the best strategies to protect their industrial property and also shared information on patents, trademarks and designs. Mr. Zatezalo presented practical information on the use of patent databases for innovative purposes. The IP expert held lectures on the topics: Intellectual and industrial property, Innovations and industrial property, Patent protection, Technology transfer and industrialtrian property with very meaningful discussions of seminar participants. During the seminar, a number of concrete examples from practice were discussed. In front of the CIP, the director of the CIP UNZE, Prof. Darko Petković, participated in the seminar. It is surprising that if the organizers of the seminar are excluded, an extremely small number of listeners from the academic community from Bosnia and Herzegovina (only 3) and 6 other representatives of SMEs and the business sector participated in the same. It is planned that during December 2015, CIP UNZE in cooperation with MF UNZE in Zenica will organize the presentation of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BIH and their new electronic information base, which was presented at the seminar.
