24.04.2019. CIP UNZE: PRESENTATION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

As part of the activities of the continuation of the STINT project, which was formally completed and had, among other activities, the aim of promoting internationalization and mobility in the BH academic space and informing future students how mobility is positioned in the Bologna process, Prof. Dr. Darko Petković with a guest from Assoc. Dr. Giovanni -jem Marinno stayed on a day-long visit to Tešnje. The visit had a broader context with the aim of introducing the guest from Italy to the possibilities of BH economic systems in the context of future cooperation between UNZE and the University of Urbino, which would include research topics of importance for the business sector and the development of the university's third mission. In this sense, before holding a forum with high school students in the Tešanj City Library, Prof. Petković and Assoc. Marinno visited the factories of BME - the factory that makes truck trailers and internal transport systems, then ARTISAN - the renowned manufacturer of solid wood furniture, and POBJEDA - the factory that makes pumps for the automotive industry and for other different purposes. These visits were followed by a forum with high school students, where the Bologna process, ECTS credits, diploma supplement, learning contract, grade transcripts, etc. were discussed. with special emphasis on the importance and promotion of mobility. Prof. Petković emphasized that it mostly depends on the student's desire and effort whether he will be in one of the mobility programs available to all students in Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow. There was also talk about the new study programs at UNZE, the references that UNZE has in international cooperation, and the desire for young people to demonstrate their desire to be part of the international academic community through their proactivity. As a handbook that will help them the most in understanding mobility, Prof. Petković recommended to the students the handbook printed by UNSA through the STINT Erasmus+ project (available at:  http://www.erasmus.unsa.ba/wp-content/uploads/Zbirka-2018-web.pdf. ) Assoc. Ph.D. Marinno presented his personal experiences from the Erasmus+ program and presented how Italian students view mobility programs. The tribune was excellently organized by the Tešanj Library, led by the director, Ph.D. Almin Brkić-Alagić. At the end of the working day, there was a visit to the wood processing factory AL EX in Zenica.
