9/7/2019 - "The end of technology and the last transistor" - public lecture, Polytechnic Faculty

On Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11 a.m., a public lecture on the topic will be held in the amphitheater of the Polytechnic Faculty THE END OF TECHNOLOGY AND THE LAST TRANSISTOR.

They are lecturers Irfan Mirza, Microsoft's Director of Regulatory Compliance and Research and Sabina Sutkovic, Senior IT Program Manager at Microsoft headquarters in Seattle, USA.

This interesting and current topic was presented as an introductory lecture at the NT-2019 conference at the BiH Academy of Sciences and Arts in Sarajevo in June this year, and at the invitation of the University of Zenica, they agreed to hold this very interesting lecture for the students and staff of our University.

Irfan Mirza currently researching paradigm shifts in digital rights strategy for health data. He previously led the four-year transformation of Microsoft's commercial capabilities in online and cloud services. He leads a global research team dealing with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing and cryptography. Sabina Sutkovic has been working as a software engineer or program manager for over 14 years on the development of well-known Microsoft solutions such as Windows Live, One Drive, Bing.com. Together they participate in projects of the Bosnian American Institute (BAI).
