CIP UNZE: Distribution of equipment within the TEMPUS project "iDEAlab"
Yesterday, December 21, 2015, as part of the iDEAlab project ("Fostering students' entrepreneurship and open innovation in university-industry collaboration, 544373-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TeMPUS-JPHES"), in the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, the equipment acquired within the framework of this project was distributed.
In accordance with UNZE's plan to form four satellite iDEA laboratories (at the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Health, and in the Student Center), equipment worth 44,000.00 KM was handed over to representatives of these organizational units as heads of future iDEAlabs. After this distribution, each iDEAlab now has four new computers, one 48” LCD, one RIP RAP 3D printer and 7 kg of refills (a set of five colors and a colorless refill) for the 3D printer.
There was also a working meeting with the head of the iDEAlab project for UNZE, prof. Ph.D. sc. Darko Petković, who, speaking about the importance of this project for UNZE and worthy activities, emphasized that these spaces and the modern equipment available in them should function as centers for the development of student entrepreneurship, i.e. as pleasant (so-called collaborative) spaces, they should enable the development of student business ideas, the creation and testing of prototypes, and ultimately, connection with the business sector at the local and regional level.
