PRESENTATION OF APPROVED PROJECTS HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ZENICA UNDER PUBLIC CALLS ANNOUNCED BY THE FEDERAL MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE FOR 2024

Public presentation of approved projects at the University of Zenica following the Public Calls of the Federal Ministry of Education and Science for 2024 was held on January 27, 2025. (Monday) at 11:00 a.m., in classroom no. 10 of the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND NATURAL SCIENCES (Ul. Travnička cesta no. 1).

In the introductory part, Prof. Dr. Fuad Hadžikadunić - Vice-Rector for Scientific Research of the University of Zenica, provided the attendees with basic information about the projects that will be presented, as well as information about all projects of the University of Zenica approved under public calls for proposals for 2024, and whose presentation in this form is not binding.

The following projects were presented:

–       Financing/co-financing of scientific research and research and development projects with applied application in the economy in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the projects "Better Governance for Faster Economic Growth" (EGG2) and "Translating the Framework for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in BiH into Sustainable and Inclusive Growth (SDG2BIH)" - R&D grant scheme, Federal Ministry of Education and Science:

1. Project title: "Development and application of modern digital technologies and innovations in the business of companies from the metal processing industry in ZDK"
   Project leader and presenter: Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Hadžalić – Institute 'Kemal Kapetanović' of the University of Zenica,

–       Financing/co-financing of scientific research and research and development projects in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2024 Federal Ministry of Education and Science:

1. Project title: Prevalence and resistance of CAMPYLOBACTER SPP. Isolated from human material and the food chain
   Project manager: v. prof. Ph.D. Adnan Mujezinovic – Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica,
   Presenters: Prof. Dr. Amir Ibrahimagić and Emina Idrizović MA biologist, specialist in microbiology – members of the project team. 

2. Project title: Investigation of the integrity of multi-part floors made by the process of incremental deformation
   Project leader and presenter: Prof. Dr. Nedeljko Vukojević – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Zenica,
