PRESENTATION HELD ON THE TOPIC Systems for optical measurement of shapes, displacements and deformations and industrial computer tomography
On 23 January 2025. in the reading room of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zenica, a lecture with a practical presentation on advanced 3D metrology was held, organized by the University of Zenica and the company TOPOMATIKA doo
The lecture and presentation were held by dr. sc. Nenad Drvar – head of the deformation department of the company TOPOMATICS doo. and Mr. Maximilian of Herzegovina.
In the introductory part, the company TOPOMATIKA was presented, which with more than 20 years of experience in 3D technologies specializes in precise industrial metrology, shape and deformation measurement, reversible engineering, testing of mechanical properties of materials, etc. thus providing comprehensive solutions for precision measurements in industry and science.
At the lecture, presentations, which lasted for 2 hours, presented various measurement systems (ZEISS 3D scanner, systems for measuring deformations, rippers, industrial CT), including interesting examples from the control of shapes, dimensions, displacements and deformations of products of various sizes. A hybrid form of practical real measurements in the laboratory was also organized, which was transmitted to those present at the presentation via a direct link.
The lecture gave students, teachers, associates, and laboratory managers the opportunity, in addition to technologies and equipment already used at the University of Zenica, to become familiar with further modern technologies and equipment important for the field of education of students and researchers, quality assurance in metrology, the realization of quality graduate, master's and doctoral research theses, as well as their application for the needs of the economy.
