Reception for students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica who achieved enviable results in the world competition

Today 16.05.2022. in the Rectorate of the University of Zenica, a reception was held for students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica who continued the tradition of great success at the world competition in international arbitration in Vienna (Vis Moot Court).

Students and professor trainers were hosted by prof.dr. Jusuf Duraković, Rector of the University of Zenica and Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Larisa Velić, who is also the chairman of the Senate of the University of Zenica. The Rector sent sincere congratulations to the contestants, thanked them for the excellent promotion of the University of Zenica in the field of law, and wished them much success in further competitions.

For the third time in the history of the competition, the students of the University of Zenica made it to the final stage of the competition and thus stood alongside world-renowned faculties from Cambridge, London, Munich, Miami, Sydney, Hong Kong...

The Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica is the only faculty from Bosnia and Herzegovina that has been placed in the elimination rounds for the third time, i.e. among the 64 best universities in the world.

In addition to the fantastic team result, it is important to point out that our student contestant Zerina Spahić received a special award, the so-called "Honorable Mention", and thus she was ranked among the best speakers in the entire competition.

This year's Zenica team consisted of Zerina Spahic, Emina Hrnjic and Nirvana Jašarevic, along with academic coaches  Amen Hasanovc and Medina Shheyc.

This year's success is just a continuation of continuous work on this type of education for our students, which we are extremely proud of.
