Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Zenica-Doboj canton is implementing an independent campaign this year as part of the celebration of the European month
of cyber security, with the support of the European Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), and the agency SANS (the American training agency in the field of information security).

As part of the campaign, a public lecture will be held for students and staff of the University of Zenica, at which specially trained officers from the IT Department of the Police Administration will
of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, point out the basic elements of protection and safe use of the Internet, as well as technical controls, especially cases in which there are elements of a criminal offense.

The main goals of this campaign are:

• raising the awareness of citizens, especially children and youth, about the importance of cyber security,
• informing about the basic concepts of cyber security,
• introducing and informing citizens about all forms of online threats, as well as threats that every Internet user can encounter,
• information about all possible consequences that can be caused when using the Internet,
• the most important aspects of user protection,
• basic modalities of safer use of the Internet

The lecture is primarily intended for students of the "Software Engineering" department, and is open to all interested students and staff of the University of Zenica.
