for the selection of teachers and associates

 

FACULTY OF PHILOSOPHY

Teacher

• Teacher to the title of associate professor (advancement-selection to a higher title, without establishing an employment relationship)
  For the narrow scientific field of Pedagogy 1 executor

 

FACULTY OF MEDICINE

General medicine

Teacher

• Teacher with the rank of associate professor (without establishing an employment relationship)
  for the subject Emergency medicine 1 executor

Collaborator

• Associate in the title of assistant (without establishing an employment relationship)
  for the subjects Anatomy 1, Anatomy 2 and Anatomy 3 1 executor

• Associate in the title of assistant (without establishing an employment relationship)
  for the subject Histology and Embryology 1 executor

Health care

Teacher

• Teacher to the rank of associate professor - promotion or assistant professor - re-election (without establishing an employment relationship)
  for the subject Microbiology and Immunology 1 executor

• Teacher with the rank of assistant professor (without employment relationship)
  for the subject Anatomy and histology 1 executor

 

CONDITIONS:
The conditions for selection into scientific teaching (teaching and associate) positions are determined by the provisions of Article 83 of the Law on Higher Education ("Official Gazette of the Zenica-Doboj Canton" number: 12/22), the provisions of Articles 281, 282, 284, 285 and 296 of the Statute of the University of Zenica from September 2022, and the Rulebook on the procedure and conditions for the selection of teachers and associates at the University of Zenica, number: 01-02-5-4294/22 0d 26.10.2022. years.

 

With the application for election to the teaching position of associate professor, candidates must attach:

1. A short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number and e-mail address,
2. An original diploma or a certified photocopy of the diploma of the scientific degree of Doctor of Science in the corresponding scientific field,
3. The original or a certified photocopy of the Decision on previous selection for the position of assistant professor, if it is about promotion or re-selection,
4. Evidence of scientific works in the field of choice, published in relevant publications - all after obtaining the last title of assistant professor (copy of the title page of the publication, copy of the imprint, content of the publication and summary of the work),
5. Evidence of published books in the field of choice - all after obtaining the last choice for the position of assistant professor (copy of the title page of the book, copy of the imprint and contents of the book),
6. Evidence of original professional projects, patents or original methods - all after obtaining the last title of assistant professor,
7. Evidence of mentoring or commenting of a candidate for the second cycle of studies (copy of the decision on appointment as a mentor/commentator),
8. Birth certificate (original certificate or certified copy of the certificate not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Contest),
9. Certificate of citizenship (original certificate or certified copy of the certificate not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Contest),
10. Proof of knowledge of one or more world languages (original certificate or a copy of the certificate issued by a verified institution not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition, or proof that the doctoral dissertation was written and defended in a world language, or a certificate o at least 2 passed exams with a grade of eight (8) in a world language).

 

With the application for election to the teaching position of assistant professor, candidates must attach:

1. A short biography with an overview of published scientific research and other works, address, contact phone number and e-mail address,
2. Original diploma / certificate of the scientific degree of Doctor of Science (certified copy not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition)
3. Original or certified photocopy of the Decision on the previous selection if it is about promotion or re-selection,
4. Evidence of scientific works in the field of choice, published in relevant publications (copy of the title page of the publication, copy of the imprint, content of the publication and summary of the work),
5. Birth certificate (original certificate or certified copy of the certificate not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Contest),
6. Certificate of citizenship (original certificate or certified copy of the certificate not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Contest),
7. Proof of knowledge of one or more world languages (original certificate or a copy of the certificate issued by a verified institution not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition, or proof that the doctoral dissertation was written and defended in a world language, or a certificate o at least 2 passed exams with a grade of eight (8) in a world language).

 

Candidates can attach the following along with their application for the teaching position of assistant professor:

1. The original or a certified photocopy of the Decision on the previous appointment to the position, if he has it,
2. Evidence of published books in the field of choice published in relevant publications (copy of the title page of the book, copy of the imprint and contents of the book)
3. Recommendations on teaching ability
4. Evidence of participation in the teaching process at the University or other higher education institutions with which the University of Zenica has signed a cooperation agreement (certificate of student survey grades).

 

With the application for the assistant position, candidates must attach:

1. Short biography, address, contact phone number and e-mail address,
2. An original diploma/certificate of completed study of the first cycle with at least 240 ECTS or study of the second cycle with a total of 300 ECTS points (certified copy not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition),
3. Candidates for selection to clinical subjects, i.e. narrower scientific fields in the General Medicine study program, submit proof of the completed professional degree of a specialist in the appropriate field of medicine,
4. Proof of the average grade obtained during the first cycle of studies (certificate of passed exams),
5. Evidence of the duration of studies (certificate of the duration of studies with data on the duration of studies),
6. Birth certificate (original certificate or certified copy of the certificate not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Contest),
7. Certificate of citizenship (original certificate or certified copy of the certificate not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Contest),
8. Proof of knowledge of one or more world languages (original certificate or a copy of the certificate issued by a verified institution not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition, or proof that the doctoral dissertation was written and defended in a world language, or a certificate o at least 2 passed exams with a grade of eight (8) in a world language).

 

Candidates can also attach the following with their application for the associate title of assistant:

1. Original or certified photocopy of the Decision on previous selection for the position of assistant, if you have it,
2. Evidence of scientific works in the field of choice, published in relevant publications (copy of the title page of the publication, copy of the imprint, content of the publication and summary of the work),
3. Evidence of published books in the field of choice published in relevant publications (copy of the title page of the book, copy of the imprint and contents of the book)
4. Evidence of the dean's/rector's award for the 1st cycle of studies (original or certified copy not older than 3 (three) months from the date of publication of the Competition),
5. Recommendations on collaborative ability,
6. Evidence of participation in the teaching process at the University or other higher education institutions with which the University of Zenica has signed a cooperation agreement (certificate of student survey grades).

 

If the diploma was obtained abroad, the candidate is obliged to submit a decision on its nostrification or recognition of the foreign qualification in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the cases provided for in the provisions of Article 4 of the Rulebook on the procedure and conditions for the selection of teachers and associates, the appointed Committee organizes and conducts an interview with candidates whose applications are timely and complete.
The competition remains open for 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication.
Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
