Conference "Creating healthy cities for people"
Education, research, practice in planning, architecture and engineering. HURBE2021" will be held in Sarajevo, from October 4 to 5, 2021. This is the first international conference launched by the HURBE consortium within the framework of the Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project "Healthy Urban Environment - Development of Higher Education in Architecture and construction in Bosnia and Herzegovina".
The conference is jointly organized by the La Sapienza University (Rome, Italy), the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (Sofia, Bulgaria), the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb (Croatia), the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Sarajevo and the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar.
We invite researchers and experts from practice to send their scientific studies, completed projects and teaching experiences in three thematic areas: "Healthy Spatial Planning", "Healthy Urban and Architectural Design", and "Healthy Engineering".
At the conference, theoretical and practically oriented papers dealing with the conference topics can be presented in one or more of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
The deadline for abstract submission is March 15, 2021.
Accepted works will be published in the HURBE 2021 collection of works, which will be published with ISSN and in open access modality. The process of indexing in Scopus / Web of Science will be started for the proceedings.
No registration fee will be charged for participation in the conference and publication of papers in the proceedings.
