Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bosnia and Herzegovina visits the University of Zenica

Today, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, HE Roem Kono, together with the Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs, Mr. Yudhono Irawan, and the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Calvinantya Basuki, visited the University of Zenica.
A meeting was held in the Office of the University Rector between the Rector of the University of Zenica, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Duraković, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Quality Assurance, Prof. Dr. Hasan Avdušinović, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zenica, with the Delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting discussed establishing cooperation between our University and universities in the Republic of Indonesia, as well as strengthening the already established cooperation between the University and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia.
There was also discussion about establishing cooperation in the field of student exchange, teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as joint participation in scientific research projects of our University with universities of the Republic of Indonesia, with an emphasis on faculties in the field of Medicine.
The Rector, Vice-Rector and Dean introduced the Ambassador to the organization of our University, as well as the results achieved in the national and international frameworks.
After the meeting, the Delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, together with representatives of the University of Zenica, visited the Faculty of Medicine of the University and the Indonesian Corner, which has been located for years in the premises of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zenica as proof of the excellent long-term cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the University of Zenica.
