THE CEE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM IN GERMANY FOR 2025 IS OPEN!

What is the CEE Fellowship?

CEE Fellowship is a research stay in Germany lasting 6-12 months. During this period of time, you will work on finding solutions for environmental problems at one of the German institutions, in the city of your choice. Through international cooperation, you will establish contacts with experts in the field of environmental protection and gain valuable experiences that can shape your future career path.

What do we offer?

• Monthly scholarship in the amount of €1350, tax-free and without social security

• Intensive German language course
• Support in finding a research institution
• Seminars and training in the field of environmental protection

In addition to being oriented towards science, you meet the following criteria:

• Citizen of BiH or another country included in the program, with permanent residence in that country
• Above-average success during Master's studies at any faculty within the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. All scientific disciplines are welcome!
• Master's degree not older than five years at the time of application
• Doctoral students may apply if their doctoral studies are not completed during the scholarship period.
• Do you have an idea for innovative research in the field of environmental protection or ecology?
• Knowledge of the German language is an additional plus, but not an eliminatory criteria

• Biography (CV)
• Description of the project proposal in the field of environmental protection or ecology
• Copies of Master's and Bachelor's diplomas, as well as diploma supplements)
• Written recommendation from a university professor from your home country, or supervisor
• Language certificates – proof of knowledge of German and/or English
